Drafting/Scheduling Posts in DW Using Post by Email

[personal profile] potofsoup has a good post on how to use
post by email in Dreamwidth. With this function and either just setting a
reminder to your self to hit send or getting a email scheduler add on like
"post it later", you have a decent way to draft or schedule posts for
Dreamwidth. Only downside is I have heard from a couple people that the
line breaks/formatting can be a little weird.

Sounds like what you need is an HTML generator. Something called Tiny MCE used to be the standard for that about ten years ago; not sure if it's still around. Before that, I think Netscape had one built in? (*memories.*) Anyway, WYSIWYG, Tiny MCE, HTML generator, HTML converter. Are the terms I'd try for this.

I can code the html myself, the question is would using < raw > (DW's house code for 'abandon house code and apply html formatting') work via email?

Oh, I know you can; I just say that because I emphatically wouldn't want to. As for whether it'd work, I think the only way to find out is to try?
