Bucky asserts his personhood by breaking twitter when he repeatedly confirms his relationship with Captain America in no uncertain terms, but a variety of phrasings.

Steve opened his mouth to ask what “colorfully” meant, then caught the gleam in Tony’s eye and put two and two together. He blushed. Colorfully. “Oh.”

(Steve and Bucky announce their relationship in a very dignified press conference. Bucky then replies to every goddamn tweet asking him to confirm it with a different dirty euphemism. Things escalate from there.)

I recced this one in Marvel rare pairs but I don't think I shared it with you guys. I really love fics that have Sam as a person with more personality than soulful eyes and therapist for superheros. Not that I don't like his skills from his VA work but he is part of the team as a superhero not to fix Steve or Bucky. This one even has Natasha as person with a sense of humor and as Steve's friend. I had to rec it for that alone, well that and I love mutual pining with a burning passion.
