Not sure of the mores and manners associated with live journal. I am using this as an excuse to check out a bunch of journals of people who post on the LJ communities I read. Until I get a better sense of how one recommends fan fic and funny entries with out looking like a twit, I think I'll shamelessly plug my favorite Youtube videos. From what I can tell you tubers love it when you link to/embed their videos, and you don't even have to crawl out of lurkerdom to ask permission.
