I somehow managed to forget the event that I have been babbling non-stop to friends and family about for months. How I could have missed seeing the first episode of the second season of Sherlock last night is beyond me. Thank G-d and Public Broadcasting I was able to watch it on the internet this morning. Not!spoiler it was absolutely amazing. The first few minutes were the most intense TV I have seen since the last episode of season 1. Also not a spoiler, Irene was good. I don't know about other fans of the books but I feel very protective of "THE Woman" and it breaks my heart when the character is played off as the besotted pawn of Moriarty or just lucky or slutty or a thousand other ways she has been mistreated over the years. This was lovely! I watched it with a piece of paper in front of me and making notes with the original intent of knowing what to look for when I rewatched and wrote a full blog entry/scene by scene commentary. I think instead I shall post the unadorned notes behind an LJ cut here. (to be typed up tomarrow as I need to go to bed now)
[ETA I have no idea what happened to those notes, they aren't on LJ either]
